Cloud/DevOps Engineer.

Requirements

• Analyze customer requirements and provide technical expertise on cloud cluster computing techniques and technologies
• Select appropriate cloud IaC/IaaS services to design, deploy, and host mission applications based on given requirements
• Deploy, manage, operate, and debug cloud initiatives as needed in accordance with best practices throughout the development lifecycle
• Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
• Manage cloud/system infrastructure and any process related to these systems
• Provide support for development in or transition to the cloud, implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
• Create functional design specifications, architectures, and render support with other cloud project deliverables
• Implement Agile process, principles and practices across the cross-functional development/O&M teams

Skills

• Cloud Platform Proficiency: Practical experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC): Proficiency with tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
• Networking and Security: Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving cloud-related issues
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with development and operations teams
• Automation and Scripting: Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automating tasks
• Database Experience: Understanding of database technologies and their application in cloud environments
• Programming: Proficiency in relevant programming languages for building and deploying applications
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with teams and clients
• Continuous Learning: Willingness to stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends
