Cloud DevOps Engineer

About the role

Bcore is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to support customer missions in Hybrid / Reston, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have experience with AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK), Kubernetes for container orchestration, and relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside elite talent to deliver impactful and result-driven solutions for government customers.
• Participate in large-scale, highly technical cloud migration and deployment efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy mission-ready solutions using infrastructure as code and DevOps practices.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and tools.

Requirements

• Proficiency with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Experience with AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK).
• Strong understanding of database management, particularly with Neo4j and Amazon Neptune.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code and DevOps practices.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus.

Qualifications

• Background in software engineering, including experience with modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go).
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and contribute to application development when needed.

Skills

Pay

The expected salary range within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is $195,000 - $230,000. Final compensation is unique to each individual and will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
