Cloud DevOps Engineer
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer in El Segundo, CA, who designs, builds, tests, and deploys cloud application solutions that integrate cloud and non-cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage AWS cloud infrastructure and services
- Deploy, configure, and operationalize resilient, highly available production-grade Kubernetes (k8s) clusters
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for cluster orchestration and application deployment using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Packer, Helm, Kustomize, GitLab, etc.
- Work with a variety of cloud-native tools to add capabilities and secure the platform
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues across all layers of the technology stack
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience with RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) or CentOS administration
- 2+ years of experience with AWS cloud technologies and CLI
- Experience troubleshooting DNS, VPN, HTTPS, and networking configurations
- Fluency with Bash, Ansible, and other scripting and automation technologies
- 8570 IAT Level II Compliant Certification, or able to obtain within 90 days of employment
- Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field (preferred)
- Experience with DevSecOps tools and concepts such as Static Code Analysis, image scanning, GitLab/Jenkins, Nexus, ArgoCD
- RedHat and/or AWS Certifications
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and other container technologies
- Familiarity with AWS capabilities and offerings
- Experience with National Security systems
Pay
The base pay range for this position in California is $100,200—$203,400 USD.
