About the role

Join our growing team supporting customer missions as a Cloud Engineer in Chantilly, Virginia. We are seeking an experienced Cloud Developer with strong expertise in AWS infrastructure and self-managed Kubernetes environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure using a broad range of AWS services.
• Deploy, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters on EC2 (non-EKS).
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications.
• Ensure security, performance, and reliability across cloud and Kubernetes environments.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support cloud-native application development.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) strongly preferred.
• AWS Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) preferred.
• Direct experience managing self-hosted Kubernetes clusters.
• Proficiency with Docker, Linux, and automation tools.
• Experience with IaC and CI/CD tooling.

Pay

The expected salary range within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is $200,000 - $230,000. Final compensation is unique to each individual and will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
