Cloud Database Administrator

About the role

Lead SQL migration efforts from on-premises to AWS and Azure cloud environments. Design, implement, and maintain disaster recovery strategies for SQL environments. Ensure security, availability, reliability, and scalability of mission-critical databases. Drive architecture and capacity planning for enterprise database systems. Mentor other DBAs on AWS and Azure cloud best practices. Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to streamline deployments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience, or 10+ years of experience in lieu of degree
• Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance
• SQL Server and AWS or Azure Cloud Certified
• Hands-on experience migrating Always-on and SQL Clusters to Azure and AWS Cloud
• Strong expertise in SQL Server administration for both on-premises and cloud environments
• Proven ability to manage SQL Server instances (2012-2022) across multiple platforms
