Responsibilities
- Assist the Enterprise Business Intelligence team to provide BI tools to NXP customers and producers.
- Lead the data design of solutions for data and analytics by developing conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support data analysis and business intelligence.
- Translate high-level business requirements into data models, appropriate metadata, test data, and data quality standards.
- Improve enterprise information management performance by leveraging MDM, metadata management, and information modeling.
- Maintain and update architectural principles and guidelines, ensuring they are embedded in the workflow of engagement leads and developers.
- Simplify existing data architecture, delivering reusable services and cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with other architects on projects such as ETL modernization and migration to a cloud strategy.
- Work with business and IT security teams to secure data and analytic assets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or foreign equivalent).
- Five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, Teradata DBA, Software Engineer, Architect, or a related occupation.
Skills
- Five (5) years of experience with Teradata DB applications, including Viewpoint, Administrator, Manager, TASM, PDCR, Data Labs, Data Mover, QueryGrid, SQL Assistant, and utilities such as Fastload, Multiload, Tpump, and BTEQ.
- Experience with Oracle 9i or above.
- Experience with AWS.
Pay
$135,845 per year
