Mission Intelligence Group is seeking a talented Cloud Architect to drive enterprise cloud transformation initiatives for mission-critical programs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cloud-based systems architecture, with demonstrable expertise in DevSecOps, system lifecycle development, and Agile methodologies. In this pivotal role, you will design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud environments across various platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define effective cloud strategies.

Responsibilities

• Apply DevSecOps practices to optimize system development.
• Participate in Agile development activities like Program Increment Planning and Sprint Execution.
• Utilize cloud service provider technologies such as AWS, Azure, Google, and Oracle to deliver innovative solutions.
• Document architectural decisions and serve as a thought leader in cloud modernization initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM discipline (or six years of experience as a Cloud Architect in lieu of a degree).
• Minimum of six years of experience in architecting cloud-based systems.
• Active TS/SCI clearance or the ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph.

Desired Skills

• Hands-on experience with one or more major Cloud Service Providers: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with cloud computing concepts such as IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Experience with Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) implementation and integration.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and tools.
• Working knowledge of full Systems Engineering lifecycle practices.
• Agile experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, etc.).
• Experience working in a SAFe Agile environment, with SAFe certifications as a plus.
• Familiarity with modeling and architecture tools such as Cameo.
