Cloud Computing Application Architect, Mid
About the role
Everyone is trying to “harness the cloud,” but not everyone knows how. As a cloud computing infrastructure architect, you know how to take advantage of cloud capabilities. On our team of experienced professionals, you’ll use cutting-edge enterprise cloud platforms to support your clients as they modernize their IT infrastructure and meet their most challenging missions.
Responsibilities
- Closely collaborate with fellow cloud architects and engineers specializing in AWS to design, define, develop, test, and debug cloud solution components.
- Create and manage container apps using products like Kubernetes to further the mission.
- Explore different ways of solving clients’ problems within our internal labs.
- Partner with stakeholders and your team to deliver the right technical solutions.
- Modernize legacy computing platforms and applications or create new ones from scratch.
Requirements
- Experience with Amazon Web Services
- Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and command-line interfaces, including Bash
- Knowledge of network technologies, including DNS, load balancing, and TLS
- Secret clearance
Qualifications
- HS diploma or GED and 9+ years of experience developing and deploying enterprise cloud-native solutions
- Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience developing and deploying enterprise cloud-native solutions
Skills
- Experience creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks
- Experience troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues for GitLab CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness
- Experience triaging and resolving issues for both open source and commercial tools in public cloud environments
- Experience with containerization tools
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools
- Experience with Git or GitLab
- Experience applying cloud security principles
- Experience programming in Python and Java

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD).
Schedule
Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
