About the role

We are working with a company that specialises in enhancing and modernising cloud infrastructure for various enterprises. They are seeking experts to help streamline and secure critical cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Harden and modernise infrastructure across multiple AWS accounts
• Clean up IAM configurations and enforce least-privilege principles
• Secure S3 buckets, ensuring compliance and data protection
• Rationalise RDS and Aurora instances for optimal performance and cost-efficiency
• Migrate workloads from EC2 to EKS where appropriate
• Implement and maintain all changes via Terraform, ensuring clean, reviewable Infrastructure as Code

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on AWS experience across IAM, compute, storage, and networking
• Valid AWS Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional certification (AWS Security Specialty a strong plus)
• Expert proficiency in Terraform for authoring, refactoring, and managing infrastructure
• Deep knowledge of AWS IAM, including policy evaluation, OIDC federation, and cross-account roles
• Strong experience with S3 for policy authoring, KMS integration, and access controls
• Proficiency with RDS/Aurora for right-sizing, performance insights, and security hardening
• Experience with Kubernetes/EKS for cluster operations, IRSA, RBAC, Helm, and workload migrations
