About the role
As a cloud computing application architect, you will create a cloud-based technical architecture that meets client needs and leverages cloud capabilities. Your responsibilities include developing cloud-based solutions for mission-critical applications and products, working with industry leaders to inform strategy and design, and recommending tools and solutions based on your research.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain systems in an enterprise-scale secure environment
- Develop cloud-based solutions for mission-critical applications and products
- Work with industry leaders to inform strategy and design
- Recommend tools and solutions based on research of the current environment and knowledge of various on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid resources
- Oversee the cloud migration process
- Grow skills in areas like AI
- Develop critical systems for the defense industry
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with cloud architecture
- 2+ years of experience designing, developing, operationalizing, and maintaining systems in an enterprise-scale secure environment
- 2+ years of experience with AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP
- Experience with scripting tools such as Ansible, PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Experience with IaC such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK
- Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience with cloud development, or 4+ years of experience with cloud development in lieu of a degree
Qualifications
- Secret clearance
- Top Secret clearance preferred
- DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II Baseline Certification within 30 days of hire date
Skills
- Technical experience with cloud technologies
- Experience with cloud development
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP
- Experience with scripting tools

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD).
Schedule
Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
