Cloud Application Architect

About the role

This role will lead technical work focused on cloud-enabled scalability, reliability, and delivery excellence. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. Responsibilities

• Lead migration of enterprise workloads to AWS with a focus on application modernization
• Define and execute strategies for rehosting, replatforming, and refactoring applications
• Conduct thorough assessments of application codebases and dependencies before migration
• Design cloud-native architectures utilizing microservices and serverless frameworks
• Refactor monolithic applications to enhance modularity and scalability
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines for smoother deployment and development processes
• Mentor technical teams while actively engaging in design and development tasks

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in application migration and modernization
• Proven background in full-stack development with modern technologies
• Strong proficiency in backend programming languages such as Java, C#, Node.js, and Python
• Experience with frontend frameworks like React or Angular
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS for application deployment

Pay

$120,000 – $160,000 annually
