About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud infrastructure using AWS services. This includes managing security policies, monitoring systems, and ensuring compliance with government regulations.
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing secure cloud architectures using AWS services
- Maintaining and optimizing cloud infrastructure performance
- Managing security policies and conducting regular security assessments
- Monitoring cloud environments for potential threats and vulnerabilities
- Ensuring compliance with government regulations and standards
Requirements
- Active Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud engineering with a focus on security
- Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and CloudTrail
- Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Skills
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or higher
- AWS Certified Developer - Associate or higher
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate or higher
- Experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
