Responsibilities
- Build, install, configure, and sustain C2 virtual machine (VM) systems in dev/test/prod
- Support cybersecurity monitoring, assess vulnerabilities, and drive remediation to closure
- Write automation code to deploy/configure apps and infrastructure (Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell)
- Deploy and support Windows & Linux servers, containerized apps, and Kubernetes environments
- Configure AWS services for compute, storage, networking, and security (manual + automated)
- Set up and tune observability using CloudWatch Logs, Metrics, and Alerts
- Troubleshoot issues across VMs, cloud configurations, and CI/CD automation pipelines
- Maintain clear technical documentation and collaborate with admins, developers, managers, and auditors
Requirements
- Bachelor’s + 9 years OR Master’s + 7 years (certs may substitute; additional experience may substitute for degree)
- 8+ years building/maintaining software systems
- CompTIA Security+
- Strong Windows Server and Linux experience
- Hands-on system installation, configuration, and maintenance
- Automation experience with Terraform, Ansible, and/or PowerShell
- Working knowledge of DoD cybersecurity controls, scanning, and remediation processes
- Familiarity with AWS, GitLab/GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes, DevSecOps practices, and Agile (Scrum/Kanban)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
