Cloud and Network Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Cloud and Network Engineer to spearhead our migration from on-premises to the cloud. You will build and secure a scalable AWS and hybrid environment, manage global IT operations, and collaborate closely with our EU Information Systems Manager to align our infrastructure with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure AWS infrastructure, hybrid connectivity, and global network roadmaps.
• Enforce network controls (firewalls, WAFs, VPNs), manage user rights/licensing, and oversee disaster recovery.
• Monitor performance, support US-based servers/workstations, and maintain system documentation.
• Manage procurement, negotiate vendor contracts, and align IT activities with leadership strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred or equivalent work experience and certifications in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in cloud-based server and network system administration and management.
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (Required).
• AWS Certified Advanced Networking (Preferred).
• Must be willing to come on-site to Princeton office as needed.
• Willing to work outside of standard business hours and weekends (when required).

Pay

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $150,000. The actual salary offer will be based on factors including the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies for the role.
