Closing Shift Manager

About the role

Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. They provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Shift Managers handle various tasks such as planning for each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager.

Responsibilities

• Planning and executing shifts to ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintaining cleanliness and quality standards
• Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors
• Ensuring adherence to McDonald’s operational guidelines
• Monitoring inventory levels and managing supplies
• Handling food safety protocols
• Providing training and development opportunities
• Assisting in scheduling and managing staff
• Meeting and exceeding performance targets
• Supporting the next Shift Manager in preparing for their shift

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility with a willingness to adapt to a demanding schedule
• Ability to communicate effectively and manage a team
• Age 18 or older to work as a manager in corporate-owned restaurants

Qualifications

While not specified, previous leadership experience is preferred. Applicants should demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

$17.50 - $19/hour

Schedule

Shifts are typically 8 hours long, Monday through Saturday, with varying start times depending on the location.
