We are currently seeking an experienced Closing Paralegal – Lot Acquisition to join our Real Estate team in our Columbia, SC office.

Responsibilities

• Handle lot acquisition real estate transactions
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all documents from contract to post-closing
• Manage closing process efficiently and effectively
• Provide support to attorneys and clients throughout the transaction

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience handling lot acquisition real estate transactions
• A strong understanding of the closing process from contract to post-closing
• A paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program and/or a bachelor's degree is preferred
• A current South Carolina Notary Public commission is required

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Skills

• Experience with real estate transactions
• Knowledge of South Carolina laws and regulations
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
