Responsibilities
- Manage closing documents and ensure timely delivery to clients and closing agents
- Prepare and review closing packages, including title commitments, surveys, and other necessary documents
- Coordinate with attorneys and clients to resolve any issues that arise during the closing process
- Handle escrow accounts and ensure all funds are disbursed correctly
- Assist with administrative tasks related to closings, such as scheduling appointments and managing files
Requirements
- 3-5 years' experience in real estate or expressed interest in learning real estate legal practices
- A paralegal certificate from an ABA approved program and/or bachelor’s degree preferred
- SC Notary certificate required
