Closing Paralegal

Responsibilities

  • Manage closing documents and ensure timely delivery to clients and closing agents
  • Prepare and review closing packages, including title commitments, surveys, and other necessary documents
  • Coordinate with attorneys and clients to resolve any issues that arise during the closing process
  • Handle escrow accounts and ensure all funds are disbursed correctly
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to closings, such as scheduling appointments and managing files

Requirements

  • 3-5 years' experience in real estate or expressed interest in learning real estate legal practices
  • A paralegal certificate from an ABA approved program and/or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • SC Notary certificate required
