Your Responsibilities on the Team
- Aid the Branch Manager in supervising loan closing associates, maintaining high morale, and delivering excellent customer service.
- Oversee all loan funding, including delegating tasks to a funding assistant if necessary.
- Ensure timely management of loan-funding requirements to meet set goals.
- Verify locks, hazard and flood insurance coverage, review title commitment items, and confirm loans only close after underwriting contingencies are resolved.
- Follow up on all documentation related to file submission to Corporate Closed Loans and obtain necessary FHA Mortgage Insurance and VA Loan Guaranty.
- Coordinate closings with lenders, escrow, and pipeline coordinators, as well as branch managers and loan officers.
- Communicate with processors and borrowers to gather approval conditions.
- Manage a system to track closing dates and lock-ins, coordinating with escrow coordinators, pipeline coordinators, escrow officers, loan officers, and borrowers.
- Maintain an updated title company roster to align with Lennar Mortgage compliance standards.
- Update closing date tracking within the TMO system, ensuring accuracy across various reports for both Lennar Mortgage and broker loans.
- Monitor and reconcile fees charged and collected, ensuring proper collection and delivery according to company policies.
- Create a fee log covering a 12-month period for all fees transmitted to Miami.
- Generate monthly reports detailing actual funding reconciliations.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of funding and/or processing experience, including conventional and government loans.
- Strong computer background with 3 to 5 years of experience in mortgage software and proficiency in Excel and Word for Windows.
- Excellent verbal and analytical communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of preliminary title report endorsements and potential issues.
