About the role

Domino's is hiring late-night closing delivery drivers. This position is ideal as a second job, for student financial support, or extra income.

Responsibilities

  • Show up on time for scheduled shifts
  • Greet customers and take orders over the phone or at the counter
  • Handle cash transactions
  • Deliver orders to customers
  • Communicate professionally with all team members
  • Clean floors, ceilings, walls, shelves, sinks, dishes, restrooms, equipment, walk-in refrigeration units, lobby area, and office as needed
  • Follow all image and uniform standards
  • Adhere to all food and safety procedures

Requirements

  • Must be available most weekends and holidays until roughly 1–2 AM
  • Cannot be unavailable for scheduled shifts due to inclement weather
  • Must be 18 years or older with a driver’s license in good standing for at least 1 year
  • Must provide proof of insurance and registration
  • Must have a reliable, well-maintained vehicle
  • Must pass a standard background and motor vehicle records check

Physical Requirements

  • Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position on ceramic tile or linoleum surfaces. Work surfaces range from 36" to 48" in height.
  • Walking: Short distances for short durations, including between the store and delivery vehicle and from the vehicle to customers' locations.
  • Sitting: Paperwork is completed at a desk or table in an office.
  • Lifting: Unloading bulk product deliveries (up to 50 pounds) using a hand truck, stacking cases onto shelves up to 72" high.
  • Carrying: Large cans/bags (up to 3 pounds, 7 ounces), 30-pound pizza sauce, and trays of pizza dough (12 pounds per tray). During delivery, carrying pizzas and beverages.
  • Pushing/Pulling: Moving trays on dollies (requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force).
  • Climbing: Navigating stairs or ladders for tasks like changing prices, washing walls, or performing maintenance. Delivery may require navigating five or more flights of stairs.
  • Stooping/Bending: Forward bending at the waist (e.g., at the pizza assembly station, front counter, or while washing dishes).
  • Crouching/Squatting: Occasionally performed to stock shelves or clean low areas.
  • Reaching: Continuously performed in all directions (up, down, forward) for tasks like turning oven controls, changing prices, lifting objects, scooping ingredients, or cleaning.
