About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual for the position of Closet Design Engineer / CAD Programmer. This role involves designing, engineering, and preparing production cutlists for custom home organization systems.

Responsibilities

• Quality: Develop and implement a personal quality process for every job to ensure all components purchased by the customer are included in the cutlist. Verify all machining, special orders, and specifications are accurate.
• Productivity: Produce a minimum of $73,400 in jobs per day after a three-month training period. Continuously seek methods to improve daily output.
• Continuous Improvement: Maintain a proactive attitude toward meeting and surpassing customer expectations (including Manufacturing, Installation, and End-User Customers). Identify and implement improved methods to reduce job completion time while ensuring high quality.
• Attendance: Arrive on time and minimize time away from the workstation. Adhere to scheduled breaks and lunch periods, and minimize absence days.

Requirements

• Intermediate or above experience with Microsoft Excel.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (college training preferred).
• Familiarity with computer usage and technology.
• Drafting or design experience preferred.
• Cabinet Vision and AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Wood product manufacturing experience preferred.
• Typing speed of 30 WPM preferred.
