About the role

Partners with Business Development Officers to build and maintain strong relationships with Corporate Trust clients, focusing on maximizing the value of those relationships for both the client and the organization. Collaborates with the Loan Agency Relationship Manager to review and onboard new client relationships in accordance with business line policies and account acceptance procedures. Delivers exceptional client service by understanding client needs, anticipating expectations, and responding promptly to both internal and external stakeholders. Proactively identifies and addresses business risks and operational challenges, implementing solutions that strengthen processes and improve efficiency. Coordinates the planning and execution of operational enhancements within the team and supports the achievement of revenue, business development, and expense management goals.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Business Development Officers to build and maintain strong relationships with Corporate Trust clients.
  • Review and onboard new client relationships in accordance with business line policies and account acceptance procedures.
  • Deliver exceptional client service by understanding client needs, anticipating expectations, and responding promptly to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify and address business risks and operational challenges, implementing solutions that strengthen processes and improve efficiency.
  • Coordinate the planning and execution of operational enhancements within the team.
  • Support the achievement of revenue, business development, and expense management goals.
  • May provide training and guidance to team members to help drive performance and meet business objectives.

Requirements

Pertaining to those who are hired to perform Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA) regulated activities, the candidate may be required to disclose/provide the following during the recruitment process (where not precluded by U.S. Bank recruitment or hiring policies): Membership to professional bodies (if applicable and required for the role), References, and Any criminal history, regulatory censure, sanctions, legal proceedings and any other formal censure, discipline or public criticism.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically five or more years of relevant experience

Skills

  • Thorough knowledge of corporate trust and investment instruments
  • Some knowledge of account management, trust operations, project management, and legal regulations
  • Ability to resolve complex problems with minimal guidance
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Experience in loan agency services or extensive background in corporate loan administration
  • Working knowledge of Solvas, Arcaria CE, ACS, WebKYC, CTUO, and Advantage Fee applications

Pay

$86,360.00 - $101,600.00
