CLO Compliance Manager

About the role

Oversee the firm’s CLO business across the full lifecycle, including origination, warehouse phase, securitization/closing, and post-reinvestment activities.

Act as a liaison between Portfolio Managers, Operations, Legal/Compliance, Product Strategy, Accounting, Tax, and internal/external technology teams on all CLO-related matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage and provide oversight of outsourced service providers, including settlement teams, compliance partners, and agents/trustees.
• Review and approve models prepared by external providers to ensure accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
• Support Portfolio Managers with hypothetical trading scenarios, performance analysis, and daily KPI tracking, while resolving asset eligibility and allocation considerations.
• Interpret and translate indenture language, concepts, and tests for Portfolio Managers, internal counsel, and key stakeholders to optimize portfolio performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related degree
• Minimum of 5 years of full life cycle CLO experience
• Experience with Wall Street Office Suite, Black Mountain (AllVue), Sentry, and/or CDO Suite
• Consistent track record managing CLO compliance, operations, deal level review, and managing outsourced providers
• Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, and Bloomberg
