CLN Clinic Assistant
About the role
Acts as a collaborative member of the clinical team in providing continuity of and quality patient care. Initiates patient care, gathers vital signs, prepares patient and exam room for procedures, and collects specimens. Provides patient education and support as needed to assist physician, patient and family. Assists coworkers and draws blood as needed.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Completion of certified medical assistant program, completion of the Huntsville Hospital Patient Care Tech program or CNA.
- CNA or LPN preferred.
- BLS must be received within the orientation period.
- Phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Minimum of one year experience working in a clinic setting preferred.
Qualifications
- Education required: High school diploma or GED.
- Education preferred: Completion of certified medical assistant program, completion of the Huntsville Hospital Patient Care Tech program or CNA.
- Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations: CNA or LPN Preferred. BLS must be received within the orientation period.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly.
- Computer, fax machine and copy machine proficiency.
- Detail-oriented and teamwork skills.
