Clinician-Westview Nursing Center

Primary placement: Westview Nursing Center (Peabody, KS) / Hillsboro Office. Part-time (less than 30 hours/week).

About the Role

Prairie View is seeking a compassionate, skilled Part-Time Outpatient Clinician to serve clients at Westview Nursing Center in Peabody, KS (with coordination through our Hillsboro location). In this vital half-time role, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based behavioral health services to adults, seniors, and families. You’ll deliver essential on-site mental health support—helping nursing facility residents and community members navigate emotional, behavioral, and life transitions through therapy, evaluation, and collaborative care.

Responsibilities

On-Site & Outpatient Clinical Care

• Provide competent assessments, diagnostic evaluations, individual therapy, and family consultations at Westview Nursing Center and connected outpatient settings.
• Deliver tailored, evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address the unique behavioral health needs of adults, seniors, and their support networks.
• Partner closely with nursing center staff, interdisciplinary care teams, families, and referral sources to ensure seamless coordination of care from admission through discharge.

Documentation, Quality & Productivity

• Complete thorough clinical records within required standards (progress notes and evaluations within 48 business hours).
• Maintain an average client encounter norm adjusted proportionally for half-time hours (~12-14 encounters per week).
• Participate in Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives, clinical supervision, and annual professional development planning.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, daytime hours between 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (with schedule flexibility).
