Description
Clinician- Park Street Program Join an innovative team that offers specialized clinical support and therapeutic opportunities to help promote healthy social, emotional, and behavioral functioning with adolescent males with trauma histories. The Park Street program is a family centered, trauma informed residential treatment program located in Rutland, VT. The Clinician provides screening, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, care coordination and discharge planning with adolescent youth and their families to increase support and overall wellbeing, improve functioning, and decrease symptomology. This role develops, implements and coordinates treatment plans as part of a multidisciplinary team. Services may be program-based, provided via telehealth, co-located with another agency and/or in the field including home-visiting. The Clinician provides clinical guidance, support and recommendations to the individual, client's team and or family.
- Directs clinical services to assigned population/caseload using established best practices and modality determined by program
- Provides individual, group and family therapy to facilitate success in meeting therapeutic goals
- Able to safely manage escalated behavior, facilitates and/or provides crisis intervention, risk management, safety planning, treatment planning for clients
- Coordinates care and recommends additional services with other professionals or community partners for clients to meet their service needs
- Provides discharge planning including an aftercare plan, care coordination, resource and referral information
- Provides consultation and training (formal and informal) to Treatment Team And Others, Especially About Relevant Mental Health issues, treatment and system of care
Requirements
Master’s Degree Clinical License or on the Roster of Nonlicensed and Noncertified Psychotherapists (See Licensing Requirement Notice Below)
- Driver’s license with use of a personal vehicle
Licensing Requirement Notice
Vermont regulation mandates that if you do not hold a valid license then you must be on the Roster of Nonlicensed & Noncertified Psychotherapists before you can be hired for work in this position. If you are not yet on the Roster, please begin the process immediately to avoid delay in hiring. Note this process may take 3-5 days for in-state applications and up to several weeks for out-of-state applications. Structure Full time AFSCME Union (dues will apply) Exempt Annual salary starting at $57,314.71 (Non-Licensed) $61,269.43 (Licensed).
