Responsibilities

  • Serves as the mental health professional for individuals until they are enrolled in services at another community agency, when applicable.
  • Conducts thorough clinical assessments and treatment plans for services.
  • Affords support and referral to individuals.
  • Provides short-and long-term recovery-oriented therapeutic counseling and education, on a group or individual basis.
  • Facilitates recovery education courses.
  • Determines a provisional diagnosis, obtains documentation of medical necessity and submits authorizations for service in a timely fashion.
  • Completes clinical documentation as required.
  • Completes Incident Reports according to policy.
  • Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all Recovery Innovations policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
  • Understands and adheres to Recovery Innovations compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
  • Performs other related duties assigned.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT), Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • One (1) year of behavioral health experience required.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong documentation skills.

  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Effective listening skills.

Skills

  • De-escalation training as defined by state requirements.
  • Driving requirements as outlined in Recovery Innovations’ driving policy.
  • Comprehensive credentialing process completion.
  • Maintaining confidentiality (HIPAA guidelines and regulations).
  • Professionalism.

Schedule

As Needed / 7:00PM - 7:30AM
