Responsibilities
- Serves as the mental health professional for individuals until they are enrolled in services at another community agency, when applicable.
- Conducts thorough clinical assessments and treatment plans for services.
- Affords support and referral to individuals.
- Provides short-and long-term recovery-oriented therapeutic counseling and education, on a group or individual basis.
- Facilitates recovery education courses.
- Determines a provisional diagnosis, obtains documentation of medical necessity and submits authorizations for service in a timely fashion.
- Completes clinical documentation as required.
- Completes Incident Reports according to policy.
- Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all Recovery Innovations policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
- Understands and adheres to Recovery Innovations compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
- Performs other related duties assigned.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field from an accredited college or university.
- Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT), Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- One (1) year of behavioral health experience required.

- De-escalation training as defined by state requirements.
- Driving requirements as outlined in Recovery Innovations’ driving policy.
- Comprehensive credentialing process completion.
