Responsibilities
- Serves as the mental health professional for individuals until they are enrolled in services at another community agency, when applicable.
- Conducts thorough clinical assessments and treatment plans for services.
- Affords support and referral to individuals based on their needs.
- Provides short-and long-term recovery-oriented therapeutic counseling and education, on a group or individual basis.
- Facilitates recovery education courses.
- Completes clinical documentation as required.
- Completes Incident Reports according to policy.
- Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all Recovery Innovations policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
- Understands and adheres to Recovery Innovations compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
- Performs other related duties assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of one (1) year of behavioral health experience required.
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field from an accredited college or university.
- Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT), Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC), Provisional Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (PLMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C), Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate (LMFTA), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate (LMFTA), Licensed Advanced Social Worker Associate (LASWA), Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate (LCASA).
Qualifications
- Associate Licensure in good standing in an applicable Behavioral Health field required.
- State professional certification where applicable.
