About the role
The role provides clinical services to individuals experiencing mental health crises, focusing on emergency and justice support.
Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid access intake and assessment
- Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services
- Collaborate with law enforcement and other agencies
- Support individuals through the justice system
- Engage in community outreach and education
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field
- Valid Virginia driver’s license
- Experience working with individuals experiencing mental health crises
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles
- Experience with crisis intervention techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
