About the role

The role provides clinical services to individuals experiencing mental health crises, focusing on emergency and justice support.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct rapid access intake and assessment
  • Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and other agencies
  • Support individuals through the justice system
  • Engage in community outreach and education

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field
  • Valid Virginia driver’s license
  • Experience working with individuals experiencing mental health crises
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

  • Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles
  • Experience with crisis intervention techniques
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
