Clinician I

JOB SUMMARY

It is the function of the Clinician to render counseling and domestic abuse educational services to victims of domestic abuse and their families. The service is provided in groups, and individual counseling.

Essential Functions

• Provide intake assessments, individual and group counseling to clients
• Maintain communication with clients
• Provide client advocacy and referral services
• Prepare and maintain client records including treatment plans
• Write summaries and prepare statistics for quarterly and annual grant reporting
• Possibly supervise graduate students
• Oversee Affiliation Agreement process with outside agencies
• Provide domestic violence training to professionals and affiliated agencies and social service organizations
