Clinician - Family Based Recovery (FBR)

About the role

The Two (2) Clinician Roles Are As Follows:

Parent-child Clinician

• Deliver interventions to facilitate positive parent-child interactions and optimal child development.
• Main focus on the parent's relationship with the index child (age birth to 36 months).
• Assess and intervene for all children in the household.
• Advocate with systems such as educational, medical, and legal.

Individual/Substance Abuse Clinician

• Deliver interventions targeting parental sobriety and psychological well-being.
• Treat co-morbid mental health issues and co-construct sobriety goals.
• Afford discussions and treatment for education, employment, healthy relationships, family communication, and legal issues.

Requirements

• Licensed Clinician: Master's degree in social work, psychology, or other licensed counseling degree. State of CT license required (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Psychologist).
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience postgraduate in an outpatient setting (depending on program).
• Bilingual/bicultural skills preferred.
• Unlicensed Clinician: MSW or equivalent required with a minimum of 3 years' post graduate clinical experience preferred.
• Clinical degree in social work, psychology, or other licensed-eligible counseling degree. LMSW or equivalent required and licensed eligible.

Pay

$54,000 commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Full Time. Position can be flexible with schedule and allow for some telecommuting.
