Crisis Community Enhancement (CCE)
Overview:
- Serves adults with severe and persistent mental illness
- Oversees daily operations for the program serving individuals in 3 counties
- Delivers intensive outpatient services to prevent hospitalization and decrease recidivism
- Aims to keep individuals in the community while avoiding placement in state-operated or local behavioral health programs
Requirements
- Master's degree in behavioral health field
- Professional clinical license or CMHT Certification from MS Dept of Mental Health required
- Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record required
- Use of personal transportation to provide services in the community
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Experience working in crisis management settings preferred
- Ability to work independently and facilitate diverse teams
Responsibilities
- Administers staff supervision, including recruitment, scheduling, and enforcement of policies and procedures
- Ensures appropriate training for all program staff
- Promotes the CCE program to the Pine Belt Mental Health service area
- Maintains daily operations and oversees goals of the program
- Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the individual served
- Participates in team staffing and functions as a member of the treatment team
- Provides clinical therapy services and emergency services to individuals and their families as needed
- Provides clinical guidance to teams, audits charts for accuracy, integrity, and soundness
