About the role

The Old Colony Y is seeking a Clinician to join their Comprehensive Family Services Program. This position involves providing home and community based services to families referred by the Mass. Department of Children and Families.

Responsibilities

• Provide inclusive care and individualized treatment interventions to families on an assigned caseload.
• Aid families in achieving treatment plan goals.
• Build and enhance practical life and parenting skills for families.
• Make connections to community resources for families.
• Lead the team in completing assessments to address and increase social emotional competence, promote resilience, and enhance protective factors for child safety and welfare.
• Develop treatment plans that focus on identified strengths, needs, and goals.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in the Human Services field (with a preference for a Masters in Social Work and a clinical license).
• Experience working with youth and families.
• Knowledge of child development, behavioral interventions, and treatment planning.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Cultural humility and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
• Flexibility and the ability to respond to families in distress and with emergent needs.
• Driver's license, clean driving record, and an insured vehicle for transportation.
