About the role

We are seeking passionate, skilled clinicians to join our Adult Services team. This position offers two unique pathways—both combining outpatient clinical work with impactful community-based services.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and engagement
  • Determine DSM-V diagnoses in collaboration with supervisory or medical staff
  • Develop, implement, and adjust treatment plans
  • Provide case management and discharge planning, including community linkages
  • Complete all required clinical documentation in accordance with agency, HIPAA, and funding standards
  • Maintain competency in evidence-based models used by the agency
  • Engage in professional development planning with supervisor
  • Contribute to agency committees, task forces, and community partnerships

Requirements

  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, or related counseling field
  • Active Connecticut license required (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Psychologist)
  • Minimum 2+ years post-graduate outpatient experience (program-dependent)
  • Bilingual/bicultural candidates strongly encouraged
  • Demonstrated cultural competency and experience with diverse populations
  • Strong diagnostic, assessment, and therapeutic skills across individual, family, and group modalities
  • Knowledge of behavioral health and child welfare systems, and community resources
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently while seeking consultation as needed
  • Proficiency with basic computer and documentation systems

Qualifications
