Clinician – ABA

About the Role

The ABA Full-Time Clinician ensures the overall clinical and operational integrity of their clinical team, managing productivity and treatment integrity. The role involves leading a team, maintaining relationships with children, families, and school communities, and carrying a caseload of clients.

Responsibilities

• Carry a caseload of children and complete initial assessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments and Skill Assessments.
• Develop individual treatment plans, skill acquisition programming, data collection systems, and reinforcement systems.
• Provide training and consultation to caregivers, support staff, and the treatment team.
• Review, monitor, and adjust intervention effectiveness and skill acquisition goals monthly.
• Complete reassessments to recommend continuation of services and appropriate levels of care at least every 6 months or as needed.
• Provide individual supervision to the equivalent of 4 ABA-BHTs, including training them to collect data, implement treatment plans, and skill acquisition programming.
• Ensure supervision and training for staff meet state/CBH requirements and maintain supervisory notes in an electronic log.
• Review clinical progress notes and oversee the quality of BHTs' job performance, including documentation quality and timeliness.
• Provide supervisory support to BHTs during service hours and evaluate staff annually.
• Maintain positive, professional, and collaborative relationships with staff, children, families, and the school community.
• Collaborate with all CCTC departments to meet the clinical needs of children and families.
• Keep current with annual training requirements and attend mandatory on-site trainings (e.g., annual and CPR).
• Ensure staff follow Children’s Crisis Treatment Center’s policies and procedures.
• Communicate staffing or performance issues to supervisors promptly.
• Ensure staff file incident reports and bring them to the supervisor’s attention within 24 hours.
• Attend weekly supervision with the ABA supervisor and monthly group supervision.
• Assume additional responsibilities as assigned by the Team Leader or Division Director.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
• Completion of a minimum of 12 college credits in ABA coursework.
• Licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
• Minimum of one year of full-time postgraduate experience in providing mental health direct services to children.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
