Clinical Trainer

About the role

The Clinical Trainer will train clinical staff with direct coordination and oversight from BCBAs, ensuring that training milestones and clinical expectations are achieved. This position collaborates clinically with BCBAs to ensure each Therapy Team operates effectively and efficiently while guaranteeing every child makes adequate progress according to BACB’s clinical requirements. This role ensures all new Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) receive training according to BACB standards and comply with the company’s training program.

Responsibilities

• Train clinical staff to meet training milestones and clinical expectations under BCBA oversight.
• Collaborate with BCBAs to ensure Therapy Teams operate effectively and efficiently.
• Guarantee that every child makes adequate progress according to BACB’s clinical requirements.
• Ensure all new Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) complete training per BACB standards and company program.

Requirements

• At least one year of early intervention experience in the field of ABA (external).
• Previous experience in a leadership role requiring supervision of employees.
• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification.
• Must be RBT IV or higher (internal candidates).
• Strong time management, observation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to receive detailed information through written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to learn and implement new skills, as well as train others.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Friendly and engaging personality.
• Reliable transportation is required.
