CLINICAL TRAINEE/MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL: ST. CLOUD OR WAITE PARK

About the role

Central Minnesota Mental Health Center (CMMHC) seeks a Clinical Trainee or Therapist to join our Outpatient Mental Health (OPMH) Team in St. Cloud or Waite Park locations.

Responsibilities

• Instruct, assist, and support clients in various areas including interpersonal communication, community resource utilization, crisis assistance, relapse prevention, health care directives, budgeting, shopping, cooking, nutrition, transportation, mental illness symptom management, household management, employment-related skills, and integration into community living.
• Provide evidence-based individual, group, and family therapy interventions under the supervision of the Team Leader.
• Maintain a consistent medication regime, deliver medication, discuss its purposes and benefits, and report any complaints or distress.
• Collaborate with community providers, employers, landlords, and families to support clients.
• Participate in daily team meetings and other designated team activities.
• Follow mandated reporter guidelines.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy for Clinical Trainee.
• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy for Mental Health Professional.
• Licensed as an LP, LPCC, LICSW, or LMFT.
• Two years’ experience in outpatient therapy.
• Medicare Eligible Provider.
• Experience in being a child and adolescent provider with clients 6+ years and older.
• A passion to work in community based mental health.
• The ability to work independently and collaborate with other departments.

Schedule

Full Time: Monday-Friday, Day Shift

Pay

Unlicensed Therapist Target Range - $55,000-$65,000 (based degree level, licensure & experience)
Licensed Therapist Target Range - $70,000-$75,000 (based degree level, licensure & experience)
