Clinical Track Faculty
About the role
The Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University seeks applications for clinical track faculty to advance its teaching and scholarship mission. The school invites applications from doctorally-prepared individuals with experience as nurse educators and focused area of educational or clinical scholarship.
Responsibilities
- Teach across a wide array of clinical areas at the pre-licensure level.
- Have certification and current or recent practice as advanced practice registered nurses (APRN’s).
- Engage in collaborative relationships with Emory’s interdisciplinary initiatives in Cardiovascular Health, Data Science, Omics and Genetics/Genomics, Neuroscience, and Palliative Care.
- Provide leadership in developing and implementing innovative educational programs and curricula.
- Contribute to the advancement of nursing knowledge through scholarly activities and research.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in nursing or related field.
- Experience as a nurse educator.
- Current or recent practice as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN).
- Ability to teach across multiple programs.
- Track record of peer-reviewed publication for ranked faculty positions.
- Licensure in the State of Georgia as a nurse.

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with academic and clinical credentials and teaching experience.
Schedule
Appointments may be made with the titles of Clinical Instructor and Senior Clinical or the ranks of Assistant Clinical Professor, Associate Clinical Professor, or Full Clinical Professor, depending on qualifications and experience.

A track record of peer-reviewed publication is required to hold a ranked faculty title (Assistant Clinical Professor or higher).
