Pay

  • LSW/LPC: $55,000.00 to $68,000.00 annually
  • LISW/LPCC: $65,000.00 to $78,000.00 annually

About the role

This position entails the provision of direct therapeutic services to assigned adult clients experiencing mental health, behavioral health, and adjustment difficulties within an outpatient setting under the supervision of an independently licensed clinician. Services may be provided through individual, group, and family therapy, as well as through the diagnostic assessment process. The role focuses on promoting recovery, improving daily functioning, and supporting clients in achieving their individualized treatment goals while maintaining stability within the community.

Responsibilities

  • Provides diagnostic service via face-to-face contact with clients under the supervision of a licensed independent clinician or via telehealth under the supervision of a licensed independent clinician.
  • Provides treatment planning and counseling services to an assigned caseload of clients in accordance with state mandates, established agency and program policies, procedures, and philosophy.
  • Documents all services provided and maintains records utilizing the electronic record in accordance with agency policy/procedure.
  • Travel is required, as services are provided in the youth's home and/or community setting.
  • Participates in a 24/7 on-call rotation schedule.

Requirements

  • LSW, LPC, LISW, or LPCC required.
  • Experience with youth and families.
  • Experience diagnosing youth.
  • Availability/willingness to work some/most evenings.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of mental illness, individual and group counseling skills, assessment skills, and crisis intervention skills.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to define problems, analyze data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and make recommendations.
  • Must demonstrate a positive attitude, commitment to provide superior service, and enthusiastic support for the mission of the agency.
  • Must demonstrate personal integrity, the ability to develop and work as part of a team, and a commitment to the mission of the agency.
  • Must be able to work with ill, disabled, emotionally upset, and at times hostile individuals.
  • Must be able to drive and be insured under the agency’s commercial liability policy as a driver if hired in a program where driving is required.
