About the role

CAMP is seeking a clinical medical dosimetrist to round out our growing dosimetry program. The successful candidate will largely support one facility in a primarily remote role with the possibility to flex to other centers for PTO coverage. On-site presence may occasionally be requested, therefore candidates located in or relocating to the Colorado-New Mexico region will be given preference. Coverage will primarily be in a Varian environment with Eclipse and Aria supporting treatment on a Varian Edge. Eclipse, Aria, and SBRT planning experience are beneficial to this position, but can also be trained as indicated.

Responsibilities

  • Support one facility in a primarily remote role with the possibility to flex to other centers for PTO coverage.
  • Occasionally required to be on-site for on-site support.
  • Support treatment planning using Eclipse and Aria systems.
  • Collaborate with clinical and technical staff to ensure accurate and efficient treatment delivery.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of clinical software platforms like MIM and Radformation.

Requirements

  • Board Certified (AAMD or equivalent certification).
  • Minimum three (3) years of strong clinical experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to function independently while working as part of a team.
  • Ability to successfully navigate remote communication, including use of Microsoft Office platform (Teams, Outlook, etc.).

Qualifications

  • Experience with Varian TrueBeam, Varian Aria/Eclipse, and Varian Bravos HDR is helpful, though comprehensive training will be provided to close any gaps.
  • CAMP provides its physicists with a full suite of medical physics equipment—procured, maintained, and updated by our team—to support accurate and efficient workflows.
  • Patient-specific clinical software, including platforms such as MIM and Radformation, is provided and maintained by our partner hospitals, ensuring our physicists have access to the tools they need to deliver safe, high-quality clinical care.

Benefits

  • Competitive Compensation: Salary packages with relocation assistance up to $10,000.
  • Health and Wellness: Fully paid health insurance premiums for employees and immediate families, plus funded HSA or FSA plans.
  • Professional Development: Generous professional time and funding ($4,200+/year) for conferences, certifications, and other professional activities.
  • Work Life Balance: 20 vacation days, 10 sick days, 10 professional days, and 6 paid holidays annually.
  • Advanced Equipment and IT: Access to top-quality physics equipment, CAMP laptop, home office necessities, cell phone, and internet coverage.
