About the role
An opportunity has arisen within the community district nursing team for a clinical team leader based at North Ayr Health Centre. The post holder will have responsibility for the leadership and development of staff across three bases, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective patient care.
A UK driving licence is essential for this role.
Responsibilities
- Operational management of the community nursing team, including professional and clinical supervision.
- Deployment of staff within the community setting.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Work on your own initiative and as a lone worker in various community settings.
- Assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for a variety of client groups.
- Understand and demonstrate evidence-based knowledge of care assurance, quality improvement methodology, and governance structures in community nursing.
Requirements
- Experience working as a qualified registered Nurse.
- Previous community experience is essential.
- Leadership experience is essential; development or secondment applicants will be considered.
- District nursing qualification is desirable.
- Evidence of personal development and willingness to undertake appropriate training.
- Relevant postgraduate qualification is desirable.
- A current NMC PIN is essential.
Schedule
36 hours over 5 days. This post is offered on a permanent basis.
