Responsibilities

• Ensure the office delivers quality and compassionate care to every patient
• Aid professional dental staff with treatment regularly
• Optimize office efficiency through building teamwork and effective patient scheduling and staffing
• Recruit and train new ortho assistants
• Uphold the office's integrity by adhering to all government regulations and company standards
• Guide parents through treatment processes, provide oral hygiene instruction, and offer postoperative instructions
• Ensure dental equipment is functioning properly and manage inventory
• Manage supply orders and maintain operational readiness
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited senior high school or GED equivalent
• Minimum 1 year experience as a dental assistant
• Demonstrated supervisory ability
• X-ray certification and other certified dental assistant credentials (state and position specific)
