About the role
The opportunity is for a Clinical Team Assistant (CTA) to support eight cardiovascular surgeons and their patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily patient service functions to support the clinical team in delivering patient care.
- Function under the license of a provider when performing clinical and other patient care responsibilities.
- Assist hands-on in the clinic setting.
- Learn and support insurance processes.
- Support the clinic team environment.
Requirements
- Education: Student or graduate of an accredited vocational program, community college, or university in health sciences with clinical experience; or completion of an MA program with a patient-facing component; or equivalent relevant clinical patient-facing experience.
- License/Certifications: Current BLS certification within one month of hire.
- Experience: A minimum of three months patient-facing clinical experience.
