Responsibilities
- Support provider scheduling, calendar updates, appointment templates, and related workflow requests
- Provide first-level support for clinical applications, including user access, configuration, workflow, and functionality questions
- Maintain documentation and manage Clinical Systems support requests through the support queue
- Monitor and troubleshoot basic EMR and application issues while escalating more complex problems as needed
- Participate in system testing, maintenance, data updates, and workflow validation
- Collaborate with clinics, internal teams, and vendors to provide timely support and resolve issues
- Identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve workflows and processes
- Follow established documentation, change management, privacy, and security procedures
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- One to two years of experience in healthcare, EMR support, help desk, customer service, or a related support role
- Familiarity with EMR systems, provider scheduling, clinical workflows, or healthcare operations; eClinicalWorks experience is a plus
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, prioritize competing requests, and follow documented processes
- A desire to learn, collaborate, and grow within healthcare technology
Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare, Business, or a related field preferred
Skills
- Technical proficiency with EMR systems
- Experience with provider scheduling and clinical workflows
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
