About the role
This position requires travel between our occupational health locations. There is a $5.00/hour travel component of pay associated with this role.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with both patients and healthcare providers
- Assist physicians and practitioners with routine blood draws, vital signs, immunizations, EKGs, etc.
- Maintain a smooth patient flow and anticipate needs
Requirements
- Proficient in medical procedures and medical terminology required
- One year experience preferred
- Knowledge of personal computer and relevant software applications preferred
- Knowledge of third party payors preferred
Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program
- Medical Assistant Certification Preferred
Skills
- BLS for Healthcare Providers
- Wear a respirator as part of the job requirement
