Transform Healthcare
- Expand nursing experiences in various units including Med-Surg, PCU, and ICU.
- Gain skills in specialty tracks like Peds, PICU, NICU, M/B, ED Observation Unit, Inpatient Rehab, and Psych.
- Receive training in ICUs such as Cardiac ICU, Medical ICU, Surgical ICU, Neurotrauma ICU, and more.
- Provide quality care and customer service, demonstrating respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy.
- Assume primary accountability for nursing coordination and provision of individualized care for patients of all ages.
- Utilize delegation and critical thinking skills to provide quality service through a team-oriented, collaborative approach to patient care.
- Adaptability, resourcefulness, and skill in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients of various ages, medical conditions, and severity levels.
- Flexibility to work in different clinical environments and rotate through multiple units.
What We Require
- Education: Graduate from a school of professional nursing. Bachelor of Nursing required.
- Experience: 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: Current RN license in the state of Virginia required or new graduate of approved program eligible to sit for the Virginia licensure exam.
- Lifesupport: AHA BLS-HCP required. May be required to obtain/maintain BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP based on specific work unit.
- Minimum Qualifications: Must successfully complete orientation and competency requirements.
- Keyboarding skills and computer literacy required for automated computer systems, including electronic medical records.
- Physical and Emotional Resilience: Capacity to handle emotionally challenging situations and physically demanding work in a fast-paced setting.
