Clinical Support Assistant-5

This position is designated as safety-sensitive and cannot be filled by a candidate who is a current user of medical marijuana. Flu vaccines are required. Work environment is tobacco-free.

About the Role

Provides basic patient care and clerical support within the Emergency Department. Performs activities of daily living, obtains vital signs, and maintains a safe, patient- and family-centered care environment.

Responsibilities

• Completes and documents patient care in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
• Recognizes and reports changes in patient condition to licensed staff.
• Demonstrates knowledge of emergency situations and reacts appropriately.
• Maintains patient charts/records.
• Performs clerical, receptionist, and support services duties.
• Ensures an appropriate level of forms, supplies, and equipment.
• Practices cost-effective use of supplies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• 1 year of related field experience, technician experience, or Arkansas Children’s employee with clinical experience or completion of a semester of healthcare curriculum (recommended).

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification from the Arkansas Department of Long Term Care (recommended).

Schedule

Full time, five days a week, 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Monday–Sunday).

Pay

Starting pay ranges from $15.00 to $18.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
