Job Summary

The Clinical Support Aide (CSA) supports the staff and daily operations of Prevea clinics. This seasonal position is designed for students pursuing a clinical healthcare career and is intended for employment during summer and winter academic breaks only. Under direct supervision, the CSA performs patient rooming, collects and documents vital signs, and maintains clinic rooms and supplies in accordance with infection control standards. Based on training, the CSA may also assist providers with procedures and exams.

Key Responsibilities

• Room patients, perform and document vital signs, and prepare patients for visits
• Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supply levels according to infection control standards
• Assist providers with procedures and exams as trained
• Schedule non-complex hospital tests, procedures, or office visits
• Perform disinfection and sterilization of instruments (including autoclave use)
• Department opening/closing checklists

Education Qualifications

• Must be a student currently attending school for a clinical healthcare profession
• Meet one of the following: Enrolled in and completed at least one semester of a clinical program, OR Enrolled in the first semester of a clinical program, OR Completed a clinical program but not yet licensed/certified, OR Have relevant healthcare training or credentials in basic clinical skills (e.g., vital signs, patient positioning)

Required Experience

Experience in a healthcare setting preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• CPR/BLS for Healthcare Providers (required upon hire)
