Clinical Supply Technician (Per Diem)

Responsibilities

• Liaison between Central Supply and Operating Rooms (ORs) (for contaminations, missing items, reprocessing)
• Supporting room/location level replenishment as standard work as well as ad hoc requests throughout the day
• Transporting carts/equipment from storage areas to rooms
• Transporting vendor trays from Central Supply to OR and back
• Daily/weekly cycle counts using Tecsys handheld scanners
• Maintaining inventory accuracy
• Reviewing daily orders and expressing issues or cancelling any lines as required to the pick lists/supply orders
• Partners with system inventory analyst to manage and maintain local inventory data
• Maintaining accurate bar code labeling of all items in storerooms and clinical areas
• Reviewing cancelled backorders from automated supply cabinet orders and filling/expressing issues as applicable on receipt of goods
• Assisting Supply Chain Operations/Receiving staff with receiving issues and discrepancies for the facility including investigation and support of resolution of match exceptions due to missed receipts
• Resolving questions from internal customers regarding storeroom items
• Resolving item number and requisition concerns for storeroom items

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience: One Year Inventory Management in a Store Room or Warehouse setting
