About the role

JRI’s In-Home Behavioral Services program is a dedicated home-based initiative focused on coaching and modeling behavioral interventions for caregivers to manage their child’s challenging behaviors. Our team collaborates closely with both the child and their family to complete Functional Behavioral Assessments and develop personalized behavior plans. Our trauma-informed treatment approach is grounded in behavioral principles and tailored to address the distinct needs of each child and family.

Responsibilities

• Support this mission by conveying your passion for helping others.
• Provide services in the communities where the people we serve live, utilizing strength-based and needs-driven choices, offering a team-based approach collaboration with the people we work with that is grounded in culturally competent, individualized services and the use of evidence-based practices.
• Carry a small caseload to use your clinical skills, while providing training, and clinical oversight to staff who are providing therapeutic services to youth and their families impacted by trauma.
• Coordinate and supervise daily program operations and develop and implement new program initiatives.
• Manage quality control of clinical paperwork, such as intake or discharge process documentation, through chart and utilization review to ensure compliance and timeliness.
• Understand and apply trauma-informed practice and treatment to support parents with clinical needs of the youth they serve.
• Work as a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team that works together to find the best and most effective methods of guiding and supporting clients and their families.
• Create a strong liaison relationship with families and clients, as well as other service and community-based providers.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in a Human Services field from an accredited university.
• Independently licensed, LICSW or LMHC.
• Substantial experience in the provision of mental health, community-based, and crisis intervention services for individuals, youth, and families.
• An understanding of growth and development and an understanding of the range of interventions and treatment required by the target population.
• 3 years of experience in a clinical position working with a high-risk population is required.
• Prior administrative and supervisory experience in a mental health setting with target population preferred.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 per year. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications.
