About the role
Oversee patient care and unit operations during weekend night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient and staff assignments
- Assist with clinical care
- Facilitate staff meetings
- Interface with medical staff and families
- Participate in planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care
- Supervise staff activities
- Manage departmental tasks such as staffing, training, budgeting, and inventory
- Perform staff nurse duties as needed
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Supervise personnel, assist with hiring and evaluations
- Ensure a safe, organized environment
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current RN licensure
- 2–3 years of patient care experience
- CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or related field
- Supervisory experience
